UNCW Media Production Team Wins Gold and Silver Telly Awards

UNCW’s University Relations Office media production team won two more Telly Awards – their 10th and 11th wins in eight years.

“Like No Other: The Campaign for UNCW” won a Gold Telly in the fundraising category for non-broadcasters. Missy Kennedy ’01, Associate Vice Chancellor of the Division of University Advancement, served as producer and storyboard writer with UNCW OUR videographer/editor/photographer Bradley Pearce as editor and cinematographer .

“This video helped launch and raise awareness of Like No Other: The Campaign for UNCW,” said Jesse Bradley, Media Production Manager. “I’m proud of the work Bradley and Missy have done on this fantastic production.”

“Glitter is Litter at UNCW” picked up a Silver Telly in the sustainability category for social media. Videographer/editor Krista McKinney ’20M served as executive producer and editor for the production, assisted by Brittany Garshinick ’20 as writer/producer/director and Brielle Barozzini ’22 as producer.

“Krista’s leadership on this production was exceptional while the talents of Brittany and Brielle elevated this award-winning play. Providing professional hands-on learning to our student employees is important to our team,” said Bradley.

For 43 years, the Telly Awards have honored the best cable television programs, as well as online, video and film productions. OUR’s media production team highlights the academic and institutional achievements of the university through video production, photography and multimedia campaigns.
