Former Flexible Autos Sales Manager Patrick Devonshire has become the latest addition to the Classic Collection and Classic Package Holidays sales support team.
Devonshire will be responsible for agents in Essex, East Anglia and home counties
Devonshire will assume a regional sales manager role with Classic, covering commercial sales and agent support in Essex, East Anglia and home counties.
Si Morris-Green, Director of Classic Agency Sales and Marketing, said: “Patrick brings extensive experience to this role and a proven track record of proactively managing business-to-business relationships with partner travel agents.
“[He] will be a major asset in helping agents attract and retain customers and focus more on mutual business growth. “
Devonshire added: “These are exciting times at Classic and this is a great opportunity to join a well established and reinvigorated operator. I look forward to nurturing existing relationships with current business partners and using my experience to welcome new businesses to a highly respected and valued brand. “
His appointment marks the completion of an overall restructuring of Classic’s sales team, which the operator said was designed to drive a more focused approach to sales and support in the UK and Ireland.
Martin Page and Jorge Quibell have joined the operator as regional sales directors, covering the North East, Central and South West and Channel Islands regions of Classic respectively.
Jo Moran, meanwhile, was promoted to a new role of Sales Support Manager, while Ali Bull took on a strategic account manager role dedicated to homeworkers.
Former G Touring key account manager Phil Shipman also recently joined Classic as the operator’s new strategic account manager for consortia.
Morris-Green said TTG in May, the restructuring had been in the works for several months and would be at the heart of Classic’s efforts to “ensure that agents stay at the forefront” of the company’s thinking.
