The latest behind-the-scenes photo of Dwayne Johnson from Black adam teases the massive scale of the movie.

The photo, posted on Johnson’s Instagram, presents a soundstage strewn with rubble. A massive column stands on the far left of the photo. “I wanted to show you this awesome shot of our huge soundstages and massive production effort and scale,” Johnson said. “We’re halfway there and our A-Team production team continues to show why they are the best in our industry.

Johnson also said the production was “inspiring” to work on and closed her post with a simple message: “The hierarchy of power in DC UNIVERSE is about to change.” A similar message was broadcast in Times Square in New York, where Black adamThe current release date for has been revealed. Photos from the previous series have revealed the grave that Black Adam was imprisoned in, as well as a brief glimpse of the costume Johnson wears as the titular antihero.

Black adam focuses on Teth-Adam, who has been given powers from the sorcerer Shazam to free his nation from Khandaq. However, Shazam ended up imprisoning Adam after a massive fight between the two. Nowadays, Adam is released from his imprisonment and fights against the Justice Society as he intends to rule Khandaq again.

Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, Black adam stars Dwayne Johnson, Noah Centineo, Aldis Hodge, Quintessa Swindell, Pierce Brosnan, Marwan Kenzari, Sarah Shahi, James Cusati-Moyer and Bodhi Sabongui. The film hits theaters on July 29, 2022.
