Sioux Falls School Board chooses new middle school boundary

SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO) – On Thursday, the Sioux Falls School Board formally adopted Middle School Option A2 with the JFK division.

The district held a board business session on Wednesday, June 17. After reviewing the comments, the board raised Option A2- JFK Split.

The option divides JFK elementary students. The board says this option could help balance enrollment at Memorial and Edison middle schools. The area they are reviewing includes houses bounded to the north by 46th Street; south on 57th Street, west on Sertoma Avenue and east on Holbrook Avenue

On Monday, the Sioux Falls School Board reviewed three possible options for a new high school boundary at its Monday night meeting. The board approved Option A.
