The School of Arts, English and Languages ​​is currently recruiting a Lecturer (Education) in Audiovisual Post-production to undertake teaching and related activities in support of the School’s PGCert in post. -Audiovisual production and other programs as needed.

You will be responsible for the delivery of a range of teaching, supervision and assessment activities in audiovisual post-production, including the convening and delivery of video editing, sound post-production and deliverables modules. . You will also contribute to teaching in the school’s programs in Film Studies and Production, Audiovisual Production, and Music and Sound Design, as required.

As a successful candidate, you will have the following:

  • Primary diploma (at least 2: 1) in a relevant discipline.
  • Teaching experience in one or more of the following areas: visual editing, sound post-production, screen deliverables.
  • Experience working with relevant organizations in the film and screen industry, culture and education.
  • Professional experience in the motion picture and screen industry, including knowledge and experience of current technologies, workflows and practices related to visual editing and / or sound post-production.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract at 0.5 FTE.
