Gigaphoton Expands Production Capacity of Excimer Laser Light Sources with Construction of New Building

OYAMA, Japan–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Gigaphoton Inc. (Headquarters: Oyama, Tochigi; President and CEO: Katsumi Uranaka), a manufacturer of light sources used in semiconductor lithography, announced that it will increase its production capacity by 2.5 times thanks to the construction of the new building.

In recent years, the demand for semiconductors has increased significantly, and as major semiconductor customers in various countries strengthen their supply chains, investment in the semiconductor industry is further accelerated.

Gigaphoton, a leading manufacturer of light sources used in semiconductor lithography, is also seeing an increase in market demand.
