- First, wash the zucchini and patting them dry with apaper towel. Then, trim off the ends and cut the zucchinis into four-inch or so long strips. Try to make them as uniform in size as possible for even cooking.
- Next, in a large mixing bowl, combine the gratedParmesan cheese, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powderand pepper. Stir it together.
- Then, put the zucchini strips in the bowl and coat them with the Parmesan mixture. Stir to make sure zucchini strips are well-coated on all sides for maximum flavor.
- Next, preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for a few minutes. If your air fryer requires preheating, follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Then, once the air fryer is preheated, arrange the zucchini strips in your air fryer in asingle layeron the trays or theair fryer basket. Make sure they’re not overlapping to allow for proper air circulation.
- Next, set the temperature to 400F and the timer for 10 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning—they should be golden brown and crispy when done. If you’re using an air fryer with trays, the top tray will cook faster than the bottom, so you will need to swap them while cooking.
- Then, once the zucchini fries are done cooking, remove them from the air fryer and let them cool slightly. Serve them with your favorite dipping sauce, like tomato sauce or ranch dressing, and enjoy the crispy goodness!
